Dr A M Anvar BAMS is a rank holder in BAMS from the Centre of Excellence Government Ayurveda College, Kerala, with specialisation in neurology and cardiology. He has also attended one-year orientation courses in neurology and cardiology and one-year course in advancements in medicine at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He has been awarded 'Young Achiever Award - 2004' by Jaycees international and 'Rashtriya Rattan Award' by Global Economic Council in the year 2004. Apart from being a regular contributor and an expert panelist for many international and vernacular ayurveda journals, he is also the international president of the Continuing Ayurveda Awareness Program (CAAP). CAAP launched by Punarnava Ayurveda Hospital has now become a global mission in promoting the health of mind body sprit concept of ayurveda.
